Weekend fun for the whole family
Leavenworth offers fun for the whole family; lakes, mountains, hiking, kayaking, rafting and more in summer, snow and snow activities in the winter, festivals, and German Food all year round.
Since we arrived in the US everyone told us we must visit Leavenworth. The first time we came in Winter and of course we had to come in summer too. It’s a great Village just two hours from our hometown near Seattle and its worth to come in summer and winter!
This time we also stayed at Leavenworth RV Campground. The facilities are on the older side but clean and well maintained. There are only a few Full-Hookups, and it is a fist come first serve campground. The campground is big, and it offers a lot: Trails starting of the campground, a pool, playground, basketball field, tennis, mini golf and usually activities for the kids on weekends.

I would rate the campground with 2.5 stars since it’s a great base to explore the surrounding area: Lake Wenatchee State Parke is just 15 minutes away, to Leavenworth and the Stevens Pass Resort is also only a 30 min drive.
