Weekend Camping trip: Copalis Beach, WA

Chillaxing on the beach – what do you want more?

The first weekend camping trip of the season lead us to Copalis Beach, just 2 and a half hours away from home. We stayed at the Copalis River RV Park which is a well maintain campground with big Bathrooms/Showers, RV lots and tons of bird houses.

The walk to the beach takes about 20 minutes. In case you want to drive with your car on the beach as we wanted you must drive to 2n Ave in Ocean Shores.

Truck camping

You can also find some nice hotels and vacation rentals around Ocean Shores. Friends of us stayed in Seabrook, which they recommended for the next time we go together.

We enjoyed our time on the beach with finding see dollars, flying the kite, walking, as well as building some sandcastles. As birthday surprise we went bowling in Ocean Shore.

We did not have enough time to visit the Olympic National Park (Quinault Rain Forest and Hoh Rain Forest, Kalaloch, Indian Reservation (closed due COVIT)) which is not far from there. Next time we must stay longer to see it.
